Think about it. Kingsbury was the guy everyone wanted when he was OC at Texas A&M during the Manziel era. Goes to Texas Tech and fails, which is fine - first head coaching gig, but now he's interviewing for NFL head coaching jobs? What have I missed? This is the Lane Kiffin situation all over again. The NFL is being blinded by young coaches with dynamic offenses.

Especially “ Over the last six years, Kingsbury’s offenses finished 12th, 16th, 1st, 2nd, 10th and 8th nationally in yards per game”
No doubt that he is a great offensive mind, but an NFL franchise is a little bit different. The similarities between him and Kiffin are interesting as far as job status, but he won't be the next Kiffin if he gets the job and succeeds. But if he does get it and fails, you'd have to think the next move would be HC at a CFB program. Still has to play out, but interesting nonetheless.
